Salzburg combines winter sports (Zell am See-Kaprun, Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Flachau), the festival city of Salzburg with its dense restaurant and hotel scene, and the lake region of the Salzkammergut, which draws many visitors in summer. Seasonal positions are available year-round accordingly: mainly in ski resorts and wellness hotels in winter, and in lakeside hotels, restaurants, and festival events in summer. Many of the tourism-focused businesses are in smaller towns, which is why accommodation for seasonal staff is common here too.
